Mine has the "Homie Depo" photo on the cover and is on clear vinyl (just like the one in that eBay auction), so yeah, it looks like there's a different color of vinyl for each of the 4 sleeve types. Purple, white, clear, and... ?

on roscoe about three or four doors west of damen?  it's across the street from kitsch'n where i went for brunch.  i met the dude who owns that place at a party more than 8 years ago, it was before i moved here and happened to be in town for a mutual friend's birthday party.  place is ok for weird japanese noise/euro electronic/other stuff i have little patience for.  he usually has a pretty good collection of asian dvd's, TONS of good japanese film not so much korean or chinese but some.

i would recommend the mai tai's at the brunch place over the records at the record shop.

long shot to ask, but is goner records getting any #6's? if so, any to be sold online? probably a pointless question at this point, but thought i'd ask anyway...

Goner has a special "GonerFest" edition of the LP comp. Color vinyl, gatefold, booklet. They're selling it in the store only this week. If any are left after the weekend, they'll be available online.

So I went to one record store last night, asked if they got the single in. They did, only one. I ask if I can buy it, the guy says "sure, let me scan it in first". It comes up as already ordered for someone. Sucks, but whatever. I went to another record store after that, figuring they all made it into Toronto at the same time. They also have one, I inquire about it, but they can't sell it to me because it's on the "special shelf".  I need to come back the next day and talk with the owner. I return this morning, already filled with self-loathing and begin to "beg" for it. The owner gets back to me with an offer of $40 for the single. Despite hating myself and finding it unethical and gross, etc. I buy it. The end.
