Recent Crap!

Boys "You Make Me Shake" 1977 http://youtu.be/4IecL5Sj6L4

Skoings ''Doctors Wives" 1977
http://youtu.be/E1uekBFEv1M / http://youtu.be/zh2ewsNdaxw

Jim Bob & The Leisure Suits EP 1980
I had low expectations but it's amusing. Wimpy pop punk & rawk from Alabama.

Mike Angelo & The Idols "Fuck Everybody" 1984 http://youtu.be/2joD3zCa8c8
Bad 80's Atlanta funk rock later covered by Rowdy Roddy Piper http://youtu.be/eVyCt1E2qxg

The Nails "Young And Wild" 1980
Their 3rd 7'' so now I have their first four.
For some reason they moved from Colorado to NYC, did a SKA 7'' & then went back to New Wave, or something.

I wanted to be COOL like the Punk Rockers so I bought this DEVO single! Whip It Good!

Seriously though, I sold a few Devo + Dickies singles to someone last year. I still need to get a few back (German ''Come Back Jonee'' ETC)... So I was looking at Devo stuff on ebay for quite a while, and no one in the United States ever lists anything good. Therefore, I had to order a cheap UK Whip It from the discogs from a darn UK seller because I'm a fucking idiot & had to have it!  ;)

Nice.

Really dig that Mathieu album.

How's the Kosinec?  Have Consider The Heart but it hasn't really stuck yet.

"Consider the Heart" is really awesome man! Give it a few more spin i'm sure you'll dig. I'm myself still looking for a copy, only time i stumble on it it was either too $$ or in bad condition. As for the two other pictured here, "bad girl songs" is very mellow but it's good and i only played "processed" once. But so far nothing seems on the "Consider the Heart" level.

I still need Mathieu!!!!!!!! CURSE YOU!

Consider The Heart rules. All Kosinec is great - dude's the cheap Tabakin.

Marrakech is almost exclusively CDRs but I was lucky to loot some 7"s. Most of them are from a little shop in the souks. There were more but I was out of money and the owner, who didn't speak a word of English or French, wanted to close the shop (for prayer I guess). Raw berber music mostly, love that stuff.

also scored some tapes and CDs.

Recent Crap

My friend got a pile of crap recently. I traded them some
Elvis Costello 7"s for a few singles by No One And The Nobodies.

I don't even know what any of this shit is, these are the highlights, I suppose.

Deprogrammers "Midas Touch" 1981 NYC, they like way too much Elvis Costello & Joe Jackson.

JG And The Initials "Dad's Money" 1983 Hoboken, NJ wimpy new wave

Nadia Kapiche "Africa" 1981 from LA with Bangles bassist & "Bitches And Bastards" https://youtu.be/ttkPSs5rFWs

The Wild Stares "Never Seen Before" 1981 on Propeller

Modern Pioneers "Native Nights" 1981 NYC wimpy new wave

Someone And The Somebodies "Newvo" 1982 on Modern Method https://youtu.be/x-cl2VAsqNM

The Sinatras "Seeing Comes Before Words" 1981 UK post punk, I thought it was funny that they called
themselves The Sinatras. Not to be confused with those OTHER Sinatras....

Terry Mann "Fire" 1981 NYC, one side is reggae, the other is new wave live at CBGB's.
On FLY BY NIGHT Records. I got to add it to discogs, so you KNOW this is a hit.

Douglas Ashley "Do Ya Wanna Know Me" 1980 NYC shit rock, I doubt anyone wanted to know him.

Freddie St. Jude "Gang War" 1982 Florida ass rock, the sleeve refers to this EP as a Rock Opera.
This is so shitty and he had SO MANY copies of it, I just had to take one.

My friend got a pile of crap recently.

I looked at them first.  Traded for some stuff to resell.  Only thing I kept was the Epigram comp 7" from the UK, 1981.  You didn't miss much.

That was just the amusing stuff. Got a couple other WTF singles. (Red Zebra 7", whatever that is.)

I'm sad I missed out on this GLAD CORP 7". Some new wave stupidity.
From Virginia, unfortunately I don't see Skip Groff selling one right now.

Recent Crap...

Caught a ride to Double Decker today. http://www.doubledeckerrecords.com/

Traded them a bunch of Dwarves 12''s for some cheap crap. I only kept a few in my collection. Horror Stories, Toolin, Blood Guts + picture disc, Thank Heaven's and Dwarves Are Young And Good Looking. Doubt I'll have the urge to listen to anything else by them, so I got rid of a few things and some reissues. The first thing I saw in 'new arrivals' was the Los Microwaves LP on Posh Boy for $5 https://youtu.be/QzL6EBtHFBY so right there I was a happy person. I decided to grab it but then concentrated only on their Small Vinals, here's most of them.

I can't resist an orange Larry Wallis "Police Car" 7'' for $3. https://youtu.be/MMgkXAug6L0

Some Damned fan I am, I didn't even have the second Johnny Moped single. https://youtu.be/p9Hcg3ZNxwQ

Holy shit it's Social Distortion 1945! Oh no, it's just the Cheetahs on Zoom. https://youtu.be/qmJFvUCn_fw

Hypnotics 1982 from NJ not to be confused with The Hypnotics or Thee Hypnotics.

Fleshtones "American Beat" which is a bit American Beat Up but the record is fine. https://youtu.be/jAZRV2ujJhc

Not sure why I never got a Stepmothers 7'' before. Not like I've ever said to myself, "man, I need that Stepmothers!"

Penetrators "Sensitive Boy" (California Penetrators) The other song's all right. https://youtu.be/EoQWmSTjEqY

Rikki And The Last Days Of Earth has to be the dumbest band name ever. https://youtu.be/W-aBtLz59U4

Sport Of Kings "Every Night" 1981, they sure don't sound like they're into sports. I guess this is Joy Divion's Chicago Division. https://youtu.be/2FVhdcPiCtA

Das Damen on Sub Pop, used to have this a long time ago, I guess I only got it because it was $5, but the song's okay.

The Schemers from New Jersey, 1981. One step closer in my quest to find the absolute shittiest New Jersey record!
The guy with the sunglasses is the best one. Their drummer apparently produced an actual Killed By Death Raer, Victims Of Society "Look So Easy"
