I have a live bootleg LP recorded in....Germany? (not gonna dig it out right now) So good. "Makeshift Swahili" is sick as death.

Probably the same one I've got -- garish yellow and hot pink, lettering that looks like the first album.  Camberwell Now's good too.  Ever listen to Hayward's proggy stuff?  Mainstream didn't work for me, but he plays on a couple other records that I really like, e.g. Phil Manzanera's solo LP.

The Creatures, Boomerang
It's good!  I'd never heard the whole thing before.  I like their first, Feast, but it's not as good as this.  Boomerang is a really nice exotica record, more or less.  Budgie's got a good pair of ears on 'im.  (I always get him and Severin mixed up.  Severin's a cool dude too.)

Factory Floor, various DLs

Pink Reason, Shitting in the Garden
Excellent.  People will not be expecting this; reviewers will struggle to describe what's going on here.  I'd heard bits and pieces of it before but listening to the whole thing at home, in one sitting, was intense.  A shaker.

Basically, but mine's red and yellow. No pink that I can recall.

Quiet Sun has some decent shit.

Lightdreams - Islands In Space [I have no idea how I feel about this record. It's certainly spacey]
Nothing People - Late Night
V/A - Music for Strange Situations [the Alessandro Alessandroni tracks on this fucking kill]
Paul West - Where's Julie [uh yeah...top want.]

All this This Heat talk from a page or two back is funny, because I just listened to Deceit yesterday and today for the first time in a really long time while at work. I'm liking it more than when I first heard it. Funny.

The Pack (UK) - Really want to like these singles, but I can't get past the vocals.  They are awful.

Plastic Cloud - S/T: Ridiculous guitarist.  Totally over the top, and largely incongruous with the vocal harmonies and etc.  This is a good record.

Bold - S/T: S'OK.

Bowie - Man Who Sold the World LP: Ditto

Rayne - S/T: I like this.

Signed,
Profound

I really like that one, as well. Great songs.

Yeah, very catchy and I think of it everytime I see a dog now. That's the happiest song on the album, I think -- there's some dark vibes on that sucker....

I second this sentiment - We've been totally obsessed w/this record for a while now... did you actually find a copy?? Or is it a download?
