All three tunes are so fantastic that even muddy mastering can't ruin 'em.

Makes owning an OG essential, then. Thanks again Harry!! Blast that pop!

I can never help but wonder how much greater "Eight Miles High" would have sounded with a competent drummer.

There's some beautiful instrumental parts on "Everybody's Been Burned."  What makes that song hard to take is Crosby's lyrics and his delivery.  "What's Going On?" from 5D is even worse, and the drumming on it rivals Body Count's "Evil Dick" in its clumsiness.

This record rules! This band rules live and leaves a trail of blood almost each show!  I think this is my 5th spin in a row for this record.

Supernaut - S/T. "I like it Both Ways" is a monster. Also, if you have never watched the video of it on YT, it is great. Didn't ever think there was something better on the album, but the rest has definitely grown on me, over a number of listens, exponentially.

Naked on the Vague - Much better than I remembered, glad I dug it out. More like Fabulous Diamonds, less like Grey Daturas. Although, no slight on the latter, as I love that band.

Was going to listen to all 3 Out With a Bang 7"s. Only made it through the first two and then put on The Doors - "Roadhouse Blues" to bring a little levity to the situation. Either way, I find "Few Beers Left" to be one of my favorite songs of the past number of years.

BFTG 3.
