Lambsbread

You heard Sky Juice yet? I think it's way better than Lambsbread, who I've never really cared for, even though I've dug a coupe of Zac's Lambsbreadesque collabs (w/ Ryan Jewell and Allison from Red Dawn II).

"Let's talk about the same 15 bands and how we like them, every other band if talked about, can only be in a thread about not liking them, no explanation or discussion is allowed of them."

can't you just make fun of some bands, mine already got slagged by someone who doesn't like us.  doesn't mean i'm gonna whine about it.  who gives a fuck.

Y'know, I'm kinda curious.  I head a little bit of the Sky Juice record at the record store and it sounded a lot more like a home-recorded solo project.  How were they live?

I think he/they might play here on the 8th with So Cow. I haven't seen 'em live yet though. The records are good though. I dig 'em lots.

Eurythmics:
"Jennifer" is a good song.

Outhud:
Outhud was good live on and off until 2003. They're recordings are best ignored following the split with !!!. "Street Dad" was one of the biggest dissapointments that I can remember.

Better than Free Blood.

I'll check 'em.  The LP is still floating around and it's not too pricey.  Thought I saw that guy Mike Geary in the Epic Theatre pix, playing drums.  Didn't know the dude was even a drummer!

Carlos Santana

SRSLY? C'mon bro, let's be serious for ONE second, it's like no one on this board takes anything seriously besides me.  You really don't like Santana?

My only experience with Outhud live was when they opened, bizarrely, for Sun City Girls at the Knit back in '01 or so.  One of Keith Restaurant's buddies from CT was there and he kept heckling during their set, "Show us your tits!"  That set was terrible.

The Eurythmics really disappointed me when they abandoned synth-pop in favor of blue-eyed soul.  Annie Lennox is unbearable when she's doing that full-voiced, growly shit like on "I Need a Man" or the duet with Aretha Franklin.

I haven't heard Eurythmics except for that one song. What's going on with this band?
