Take BART to Richmond ($5 ea way) and then hop Amtrak ($22 ea way) to Sacto. Its about 2 1/2 hours if you time it right.

Damn, that seems expensive.  Doesn't SF have an equivalent to NYC's Chinatown bus?

That's Joey the cat at the record store I used to work at in Sacramento, unmistakably, from the dirty carpet, crammed rows of shitty 45s, "Dire Straits" 45 leader card?  It's definitely Records.  That cat was a nasty little fucker who pissed all over the records, but the owner was just about as crazy and took awful care of her.
