No.  I know this question could be solved by using Google, but where is it?

Eric on Greenpoint, by Eric:

First and foremost, Papacito's sucks.

Best pizza: Carmine's.  By far.  But I will try the Grandma slice at Triangolo.

Worst idea that seems like a good idea at the time: Palace Fried Chicken.

Best cheeseburger: I really like Enid's.  Too pricey, but almost worth it.

Totally solid Thai food: Amarin Cafe.  Cheap and has never let me down.

Best coffee: Cafecita Bogota.  Best coffee outta any cafe I've visited in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens.

Second best coffee: Greenpoint Coffee House.  Also has pretty decent food.  Excellent pastries.

Best pastries: Peter Pan Bakery.  I ate two red velvet cake donuts one day and couldn't move until the next.  Deadly.

Worst breakfast: Brooklyn Label.  How do you ruin eggs, motherfucker?

Favorite bar: The Polish joint on Nassau and Manhattan.  Never crowded.  Most everyone will leave you alone.  Every third drink is a buyback, it seems.  I don't mind Lula's, whose free pizza is much better than the Charleston's (even though they're owned by the same person), but everyone else says they hate it.  The Black Rabbit is a good bar for a date.  Fuck t.b.a.  Look at the name.  The beer garden is a gravel pit with picnic tables, which sounds fantastic, but they manage to ruin it somehow.

Favorite local: THE STOOL PIGEON.  He yelled "Now you're gonna suck my dick!" to some random guy who walked by the other day.  He was drunk.  It wasn't even 2 p.m.

Signing off,
Eric

I ended up here for the first time at 8am at the tail end of a party on Saturday night, and wow, those bialys were amazing, even by Jewish standards.

The best egg sandwiches are served on those Bialys.

This didn't take long to turn into another Brooklyn restaurant thread.

Eric: Acapulco is on Manhattan @ Clay

Need me a loaf of Jewish corn rye now that I think about it.  Adelman's or elsewhere?

Bushwick Pizza:
Robertas. Woodfired. Kinda pricey, but pretty good I think!

Other Brooklyn Pizza:

Difara (Avenue J Q train)
Grimaldis (Under the Brooklyn Bridge)
La Nonna (Bedford Avenue/North 3rd St) Gotta get the salad pizza there. A whole pie, fresh. Love it.
Vinnys (Bedford Avenue. More for their weird slices, like the Black Bean Avacado)
Carmines (Graham Avenue) I was given a whole pie out of the trunk of a random cabbie last week, and I still fucking ate it!!!
Nice Pizza (Franklin Avenue in Clinton Hill) Thinnest Pizza around. Super wafer thin, and super good. French guys run it. Nice, like the city.
Triangolo (Greenpoint. Manhattan Ave) I have a real soft spot for this place. Lots of Steven Segal pictures in there. By "lots" I mean two.

Any other place you see is probably worth trying too.

I've only tried two of those places.  I need to fix that.  My pizza intake has been mainly limited to the slope. 2010: Time to branch out.

Roberta's is way better than Carmine's, but Carmine's is probably the second best pizza I've had in NY. Amazingly, Wisconsin completely fuckin' smokes ALL NYC pizza. Big ups to Frank and Pats, Jake's, Cranky Pats, Superior. Fuck, even Pizza Shuttle is better than just about everywhere I've had pizza in the city 'cept Roberta's.

You're crazy if you think Enid's got one of the best burgers. I shouldn't talk shit considering those are my peeps and all, but I used to eat that shit alot and even for free it's not one of the best. Dumont kills it. The best burgers you'll find in NY however are at Boulevard Tavern on Meeker or whatever. There five bucks all you can eat. The music sucks (rockabilly etc...) but it's a decent dive and the burgers are the closest I've found to the ones I get back "home."

If yer in NY, you should really get some shit that it's actually hard to find decent in other parts of the country like sushi or falafel.

Man, fuck Dumont's overpriced slab o' beef. Yeah, it's good, but not 13 -14 dollars good. I think Enid's has got a decent burg.

And fuck Boulevard. That place sucks. DJed there once. Fuck that place.

Kevin, don't leave, just leaf. Or Leif, preferably.

Enid's is only a dollar or two cheaper than Dumont, man.

Also, no doubt that Boulevard sucks as far as clientele/music (weird that I would prefer to be around hipsters to rockabilly and NOFX fans) but seriously, five bucks all you can eat cheeseburgers made on the grill by a dude who knows what he's doing. Best deal in town, and as I mentioned, best burger in town.

You don't pay for food? How do you get that treatment, but not me?
