Don't get too touristy faggot and end up at the Varsity with a three time felon shoveling slop in your face for the sake of Authenticity.

Go to the Vortex (L5P location) and get a burger

Bhojanic for indian

El Myr - for cheap beer, huge anglo crafted burritos

Shortys for Pizza

Go to Buford Highway and devour:

Pho Dai Loi for pho

Chef Liu for REAL chinese (soup dumplings are godhead)

Havana Sandwich shop - For cuban

Han Woo Dae - The best Korean BBQ in the motherfucking city

way too much shit to name.. but those are all at least decent options

EATS is one of the most overrated slop houses in the city. Bland "jerk" chicken with cardboard texture. I'm guessing the only reason people frequent the place is because its piss cheap.

I used to eat there all the time when i was growing up and lived with several Eats employees for a brief spell around 1998. The chicken is great for the price for sure.

spinach tortellini in alfredo sauce motherfuckers. Thats what you need to order at EATS

Mike from Frantic/Predator's parents own a peruvian chicken shack that is fucking ridiculous. Its out in decatur but its completely worth the (short) trip. Place is called Las Brasas. 310 East Howard Avenue, Decatur, GA 30030-3401(404) 377-9121‎

In the same neck of the woods is Brickstore. Got a couple of termbros working there and hundreds of beers. Really good bar food.

Stop at one of the Figo Pasta shops scattered around town, and get a huge thing of fresh pasta for 8 or 9 dollars.

Daddy D'z is pretty good too. But theres a place I used to go called Bouldercrest House of Ribs (1281 Bouldercrest Drive Southeast, Atlanta, GA‎ - (404) 243-8484‎) thats a little off the beaten path, plus you might see some ghetto drama in the parking lot. Atlanta is a good place for that by the way

When Jordan was working there he told me to never eat the alfredo sauce at EATS and I haven't since. Actually, I think you were also living with us at that time come to think of it....YEAH BUDDY.

The one time I went to EATS I got some sort of pasta and wasn't impressed. It tasted like exactly what I make with Kroger ingredients. Figo is much better.

Papi's Grill: Cuban food right in the middle of town

Nick's Food To Go: Dive Greek food, take out only, never been there but supposed to be really good

Dakota Blue: Solid and cheap bar food and Anglo-inspired Mexican

Mirch Masala: Really good Indian

Fox Bros. BBQ:  Great smoked meats, lots of vegetable sides and some crazy concoctions (ie:  The Tomminator, tots covered with Brunswick stew and cheese, The Lopez, same but with chili.  Fried mac and cheese and stuff too).

I always order a couple meals while I'm there for some take-home!

Yeah!  I got stuck in Atlanta overnight on the way home from PR and Jesse and Karen took me here.  All the food was really good and the portions were huge.
