im going to puerto vallarta for my ma's wedding in about 2 weeks. is there anything to do around there that doesnt suck?

I was there a couple years ago.  Old part of the city is cool.  Just eat and drink not much else to recommend.  Food was pretty decent everywhere I went but I can't recall any names.  Pretend you're interested in purchasing a timeshare and drink free tequila.
