I can't believe these dudes couldn't get anything in Seattle. Really too bad they couldn't be playing in Vancouver instead.

I can usually get Seattle done pretty easily. But it just didn't pan out. I had 17-18 other cities to focus on, so Seattle was delegated, and although the delegate is usually capable, things were going slow at the beginning, and then kept getting worse and worse. I'm sure that about 10 people were working the phones and email constantly last week. Still nothing. When it gets down to a week's time, nothing's ever easy regardless of city.

Yup, the situation for Seattle is a bummer.
Right off the bat, our usual places were booked up and slowly every back-up plan fell through. On top of that we had Pizza Fest last weekend and there was some other complications. We need more friends that can have house parties!
Needless to say, if/when they show up they will be treated like the royal road warriors that they be, show or no show.
Now Damon has a chance to shop for the perfect "Sleepless In Seattle" shirt like he's always wanted...

So, if Vlad the Retailer is officially kaput now, that means we need a show somewhere in California on Friday the 13th. This is pretty fucked. Please email me at rickele (AT) gmail (DOT) com if you know where this can happen. We'll take any show as long as it's somewhere between Bay Area and San Diego.

Call of the L.A. search dogs. Nevermind that last post. Aaron from Vlad's just clarified the rumor. As of 8/19, there will be no more shows there, but the 8/13 show is safe. Mark your calendars and be there, Angelenos!

Great show last night in Sacto!

If anyone in SF/Oakland knows Randy Lee Sutherland, can you call him and tell him to bring his saxophone. The Puffies asked me who's the best sax man in the Bay Area. I pointed at Randy Lee. Let's jump him into the band, huh?!!?

Great gig. Puffys killed it. I joined CCR Headcleaner on lead guitar for their set. Sounded like Spacemen 3 meets Silver Apples (seriously)
