Maybe there's a bit of "leave 'em wanting less" when it comes to the sheer amount of records they've released in the past couple years...I get that.  Even still, it's hard not to be won over by a band that's as good as they are, live especially.

That Vex Ruffin 45 is dope as shit, one of the more unique things I've heard lately, but given the bucks PB Oven probably fetches, that is not a fair trade.

Oh Sees always sucked. They were painful when I saw them live a few years back, especially when the girl would do the background warbles. Cool looking gear though.

the records don't do anything for me. there's lots of energy live. the drummer is great. but always feel like something is missing. i think what it comes down to is they're soulless.

jay reatard and the black lips did not get child boards based on the merit of their work. they got child boards because i was sick of every other post in the music board being some 20 year old raving about how the black lips were the best rock & roll band that ever existed or that jay reatard is a better songwriter than anyone ever. silly shit like that was dragging down the music board. really, who the fuck cares what new song the black lips are covering? well, i guess some people do and though i am sure this is not in the spirit of the americans with disabilities act, i thought it would be best for the retarded children to be segregated from the rest of society or at least termbo. also i thought the reatard board would irritate jay, but he's dead so i am sure he is at peace with it. now, if you want a private place to chat about how dwyer is ohso dreamy, i will be happy to oblige, but please note that it will be because i think the ohsees are highly overrated and that you are a fucking moron for championing them. but also know that the ohsees childboard will be a childboard of the pop punk childboard, something i am thinking of doing with both the reatard and black lips boards.
