if anything Wavves is back. he's got Mountain Dew backing him, big summer release for THE KING OF THE BEACH... i think Wavves is gonna turn a lot of heads. he's not sitting at the kids table anymore, hanging with the big dogs. he's gonna do GREAT.

He's playing the big free outdoor show for NXNE in Toronto on Saturday night, along with the Ravonettes and Stooges. Don't know precisely what this says, or if it says anything at all, but I doubt they asked U2, Metallica or the Stones, so maybe Wavves is now the biggest band in the world (after the Stooges and the Ravonettes)?
