So im trying to make a mix cd for a friend to illustrate the finer points of this genre.
Trying to stick to punk bands that are plodding, tough, ignorant and moronic without being too political. No RAC cause i already have plenty of that shit on my computer. Mostly want to include older bands, and no HC bands.

so far ive got some ideas like...
Ducky Boys - (I) (Wanna) (Be) (A) Mercenary
Kriminella Gitarrer - Silvias Unge
Quick and the Dead - Nothing for You
Though Criminals - Fun
The Next - Cheap Rewards
etc...

HALP PLZ

Moral Majority Dance Band 7" - All 3 songs are of the moronic thug ilk and I do mean that in a positive way.

Roach Motel (Roach And Roll) 7" There's a song on the record called Wetback, need I say more?

RPA (Shoot The Pope b/w Bonecrusher) 7"

I feel dumb for not mentioning the Viletones yet.  Pretty much their whole catalog but "Rebel", "Control" or "Never Feel Sad" in particular

Also the Sluts(New Orleans)-Poor Blacks

punk bands that are plodding, tough, ignorant and moronic without being too political.

Trying to get a handle on this but I guess I need to go listen to some of the reccos here...I'm sure you don't wanna a whole thing of Oi footie-related songs but "War on the Terraces" by the Cockney Rejects is ace...Some choice early Antiseen? Is the Effigies's "Body bag" too clean?
"Be useless, so no one can use you."
