I prefer to sit and watch Rollins interviewed than listen to Black Flag albums.
Darlings of clueless UK publicists, indie promoters and music journos, they're on a monthly retainer from One Little Indian to do badly rehashed anarcho music for the indie crowd. The singer writes for Vice and his dad is Alan McGee, although he's insistent that they worked hard to get where they are (i.e. getting signed before playing their first gig). Anyhow I'm not here to lecture about the co-option of punk or anything, I just thought I'd share the hilarity of these interviews:http://www.artrocker.tv/features/article/flats-were-the-closest-thing-to-a-real-punk-band-aroundhttp://www.loudandquiet.com/2010/08/flats-interview/http://louderthanwar.com/blogs/flats-are-bringing-a-new-take-on-fierce-punk-rock-to-battle-and-john-robb-is-cheering-them-onThey have a music video and the song is called "Never Again" (?!!!!)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RoiU_MV0plM

Don't think that I've heard of One Little Indian Records but my first thought was, "Wasn't that the name of a Crass single or something??" Interesting history, especially the Mccartney connection:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Little_Indian_Records
