Thanks P-TNT! Disappointing, not what I've expected after 7 years but I think I don't hate it as much as Mark Prindle:http://markprindle.com/dwarvesa.htm#born

If anyone cares some guy upped the Penetration Moon album (covers of GG, the Dead Boys, the Dolls etc.) on youtube:

I don't know, it's not mindblowing but it isn't as bad as it could be either. Just listening this for the first time. It could have couple of songs less, especially this "Zip Zero" that is playing right now.

Still psyched. The last two have gotten non stop play.

Of course so far my copy of the LP hasn't shipped from ScAmazon and I haven't seen this disk anywhere in stock locally as the stores still get the force fed mainstream shit delivered days before the same distributors deliver everything else.

first impression - its pretty bad, even compared to the last couple.  Seems like they're trying really hard to make a back-to-basics punk rock Dwarves LP (no rap, weird metal parts etc) - but its really corny and the production sucks.

BG&P is the last worthwhile record from them and that was 20 years ago(Sugarfix and Thank Heaven were ok)

why ppl still bother listening is beyond my comprehension...

Can't buy this, thanks for the preview listen AOLOL. Their Epitaph LP was 15 years ago, jeesh, that was the last time I saw them play live. I still dig that one kinda sorta but it's definitely where the shit computer overproduction started. All 3 Sub Pop LPs are amazing with Blood Guts and Pussy a top 10 LP of all time.

I like "Thank Heaven." After that I can't see why anyone would care. It's impressive enough that they were bad-ass through several stylistic changes during the first 7-8 years or so of their existence.

Agree 1000%, I think they peaked with Horror Stories.

I view BG&P as a very different thing as the recent studio heavy stuff which I think has a great novelty aspect of being so fucking over the top. I totally get why people would hate it but it makes me laugh and yeah it's not BG&P but what the fuck is.
