You can prob find the 2nd comeback lp 'Modern Rock' from 1995 for $8 or so if you are lucky. It has 4 good songs on it, don't forget to check for the bonus 7". Their other lps range from pricey, like $40+ for Boodle or Great Sounds Great, to cheapish $15 or so for Vehicle or the live euro 12". Their orig CDs actually go for more than that sometimes.

The time is ripe for a major NZ/Flying Nun revival. Alot of the obscure stuff from 81-84 has never been reissued anywhere and alot of it is flat-out great. And you know there has to be tons of unreleased junque from back then, cassettes were everywhere in that scene.

You could always download it first. I'm sure you'd be willing to pay money for their stuff once you heard them Steve. I think you'd actually possibly dig some Tall Dwarfs stuff too.

Mike: 3 EP's is good. Hello Cruel World is good. Fork Songs is ok too. I honestly am just a fan of the band in general. I even think their most recent album was worth a listen.

Luckily, I have tons of this stuff on vinyl. I used to mailorder right from Flying Nun after reading "The Garage" and whatever Forced Exposure/Popwatch were into (B-Side from Australia also touched on much of this). I also have a few on cassette, for some odd reason, like the underrated Look Blue Go Purple 2 eps tape. I've made so many suggestions already on different threads, but for Tall Dwarfs definitely try the 3 eps release, which included (duh) three early eps.
