i love the ramones first few albums but the stooges are wayyy better.  any 1 of the stooges albums is so much better than any ramones album.  the stooges were way more unhinged, dangerous, primitive, dynamic, versatile etc

Yeah, it's been years since I heard London Calling so I checked out some songs off it on YouTube and there sire are plenty of clunkers. The best ones from it trump the whole first album though.

Did I say the Clash suck?  No I enjoy quite a few of their songs, but they weren't a great band.  I don't buy into the mythology of them at all.
