How many 10 inch records do you have?

i have maybe 20-25 of these. they kind of annoy me for some reason...too short to walk away from, but too long to sit by and wait to flip. 

Yeah, that's exactly what I don't care for with 10"s. I'm also not a big fan of the 7" EP format either for much the same reason.

It's weird how ten inches have these revivals every few years and then recede again (well, I'm sure it's economics that cause the receding, but...). 

I think the time limit of good sounding sonics on a 10 inch is probably a good max for most bands. You gotta love em.

Are you talking about the Tokyos that Rave Up reissued...if so that's a pretty damn boring record.

Yeah - I like the 10", partially for sentimental value, and think the six songs stand on their own fine. Throw it in with six or however more for a Rave Up reissue and you are gonna get what you get with most Rave Ups, a good record that is all the band had in them plus stuff that never should have been released. If my intro to the Tokyos was through the Rave Up LP, I'd think the same. Luckily I got to the 10" long before it was watered down with the neeless reissue.
