New batch of SSLD releases

Holy Shit! That CPC GANGBANGS 7-inch on Solid Sex Lovie Doll smokes!!! Also, the DAN MELCHIOR 7-inch is absolutely essential - one of the best tunes he ever recorded! I'm prejudiced as far as THIS DAMN TOWN goes since I'm a big fan of this sadly defunct band. The other releases (Bassholes, Lamps, Johnny Vomit, Candy Apple Killings) sound great too. GOOD SHIT!

The Bassholes single are far from their normal standards. But its a must have anyway

And are people still paying retarded amounts of money for their recs on E-gay two weeks after release

I got half of the records in yesterday.  I should get the rest in monday.  I feel guilty putting them up on the website before I have all the records in.  I know you nerds want to drool on all 8

Played 'em all on my radio show Sunday. My Johnny Vomit is off center and My Bassholes had some paper stuck in the actual vinyl but still played. CPC A-side has way-hot guitar leads, This Damn Town has pretty good Danzig vocals and some rockin' tunes, Dan Melchior stood out from all the grime and Bassholes still sounded great. Candy Apple Killings went on way too long though.

I got most of them and have to say the Bassholes one stands out the most. I'm a Howland fan but not an authority, and these two songs sound different from most of the stuff I've heard with fiercer lead guitar that I'm used to. Really good.

Haven't received it yet, but haven't checked the PO Box in a few days...I'm hoping it's there tonight next to the Goodnight Loving LP and my Florida's Dying order.
