Dissonance (Flint, MI hardcore/punk 1983)

Dissonance were a completely forgotten Flint, MI hardcore/punk band that actually should be ranked right up there with the likes of the Fix and Necros as far as great Midwestern hardcore bands go but history and I'm sure a thousand other roadblocks prevented that from happening. Put together as an anthology disc for the first time you get everything the band ever recorded, plus live tracks and even a DVD. Put out by Wyatt Earp Records out of Flint, MI this shit is a must for any fan of early to mid-80's Midwestern h/c.

Apparently the bassist in my band has a bunch of copies on CD and vinyl. The CD has more material on it and is probably the better value but the vinyl sounds killer. I can see guys like Soriano, Rich, and Mitch eating this shit up.
