Submarine Races

I've been listening to the album today and I like it but who (besides Ian) is in this band? I really like song 'Six Foot Two' and the guy I presume wrote it.

I really need to hear this.  I'm a big fan of the Ponys and I'm not gonna hide anything...I like a decent amount of indie rock.

By the way that everyone was not liking it for being too indie pretty much sealed my fate of liking it.

Yeah, but it's put together well. That one song in particular is the best. Not sure who is all in this band.

that Six Foot Two song is sung (and written) by the bass player, not Ian. The guy's name is Steve and he's 1/2 of the band 'the Countdown,' who are playing tomorrow with Cheveu in Chicago. Live, Steve sings about half of the set sometimes and it's really a lot harder than the rest of the stuff.

.. i dont think this record would be considered "indie" to most of the "indie-fags" I know.

I want to hear more of this Steve character's songs.  "Six Foot Two" is as good a punk song as any I've heard this year.  Except the line "'cause bein' a brat is where it's at"; that's just kinda corny if you ask me.
