We've never really discussed video games here. I am a huge video game guy and cannot wait until the 19th when I can go to the store and walk out with a Wii.

anyone with me?

Video games are for boring people that should probably just grow some balls and start shooting dope.

I'm really curious bout it - though I doubt I'll pick one up until the price goes down a bit.  Hoping stores start setting up stations where you can give it a try - the controls look fun, but I wonder how good they'll work.

russ, the wii is half the price of ps3 and xbox360. a next gen console like this launching at 250 is unheard of.

Yeah the price isnt outrageous (the PS3 price is though) - but seems like it'll be cheaper and have more good games once its out for a few months.

I'm totally with you. I'm getting one. I thought it was called the Revolution?

A controller that acts like a remote control and when you turn it sideways it acts like the video game controller...

plus it has bluetooth wireless technology for using the controller as a tennis racket, gun or whatever... this system is gonna kick ass... and this comes from someone who hates video games and has never bought a game system before... other than bradx's shitty nintendo.

I generally waste as much time as anyone, but whenever I play a video game I feel like the clock hands are spinning off the spindle like in an episode of the Twilight Zone.

I seriously would rather start shooting dope again than buy a video game system. At least their are benefits to shooting dope.

Well, with the new wand-style controller, gamers are closer than ever to replicating the action!!

I can't wait.  I'm saving up for a ton of shit (Euro trip '07, eyeglasses, etc.), but I'll probably gonna end up buying the Wii the day it comes out.  Are they using "We Will Rock You" in commercials yet???

Video games are as evil as anti-depressents.

It was called the Revolution (better name i'd say) but at E3 last year they announced it as the Wii.

And I too thought about a "Wii Will Rock You" and i'm sure that will happen.

I don't mind playing video games once in a blue moon, but after like 20 minutes, I can't play that shit anymore.  I don't see how adults can sit down and just play for hours...I used to stay up all night playing when I was a kid but now so many better things to do

What does being 18 have to do with being boring?

Nothing, but Eric was talkin about being an adult. And I am far from it.

Why you hate video games so much, Kevin? Couldn't you beat World 7 in Mario Bros. or something?
