Yes, there are a couple of Edinburgh threads from years past, but they suck, and they are really old.....

Heading to Edinburgh for the first time (and also first time in Scotland), for work. Will only be there a week. Any recommendations on:

Record shopping?
Bookstores?
Good local music?
Flea markets/thrift stores?
Other cool shit?

I will also have access to a car and some time to drive around and maybe a day trip.
