I don't get how this looks good. I mean it looks super weird and "artistic" I'd take acid and go see it. But I'm already confused by the point of this. Someone explain.

It's better to see him present it and have him explain it.

caught this the other day in chicago where crispin was there and read about five of his books in their entirity with the pages projected on a screen behind him and then did a verrrrrrry long Q and A after the movie.  He would give 30 minute answers to each question.  Still confused on what i thought of the movie, but definetly worth checking out.  The guy is just as big a nut in real life as you would expect.

Does he still have that 1-800 number with an answering machine running?  As of a few years ago, someone told me that it was still going, but I'm not sure if I believe it.  He started that line sometime in the late '80s or early '90s, I think.

I'm pretty sure the guy's pretending he's nuts.  But then, I never think anyone's crazy unless I see them nearly commit suicide or actually commit suicide or otherwise mangle their body and don't have much to prove all the while.  One exception is GG, who hit both qualifiers and had a lot to prove.

Jeez, what a ham this guy is and always has been.  I can see "misunderstood" 12 year old girls eating the schtick up, or maybe the 30-something guy with the black-dyed mustache and thick mohawk who always wears dog collars and baggy black shorts with clunky black boots to minor league soccer matches here and comes crying to me because someone is smoking behind the bleachers or made fun of his Emily backpack, but adult men who dress sensibly and like good culture....that just mystifies me.

I've called the 800 number for Volcanic Eruptions a few years ago and ordered a catalog, but I never recieved it. I personally think Crispin Glover is a fuckin' genius, never suspected he was insane though.
