Brooklyn, NY?
« on: November 25, 2006, 01:52:41 PM »
I'm thinking about going to Brooklyn for a few days in late December. Who lives there and can I crash at your pad? I want to check things out there as I may be moving from Chicago in April and I'm thinking Brooklyn sounds damn fine. So gimme the lowdown on said city as I've never even been there.

I'm not even sure if I'll actually move in April. I'm just looking for possible options. My buddy Paul tells me Brooklyn is the best city in the world and he's also lived in Chicago. But yeah, seeing as I've never been to NY I'm thinking a trip may be fun.

austin's right....you need to have a really good job.  i might have stayed there longer if i thought i could have survived without working in the stupid fashion industry....it's just too expensive....everything there is!!  i didn't even realize it so much until i moved away and realized how cheap everything is in tennessee!

nyc is really a great place though.....they have wonderful public transportation....i met tons of great people....there's always something to do....friends always want to come visit you....tons of weirdos to observe and laugh at.....the list goes on....go for it matt....you'd probalby like it....maybe you should talk to joe about it
