Today I've helped numerous customers who were looking for products to deal with gas, bloating, and various other digestive problems(i work in a vitamin store)....  But later in the day a customer asked me if we had something to help with not the gas,  but the smell. We do!!  And at the very moment when I was ringing her up for the product.... somebody CUT ONE!  and it was horrible... it was so aptly timed

i work at a house with 14 mentally disabled adults. this morning i was giving one of the dudes a shower and the power went out. took me bout half an hour to get the shitty generator started, then it ran out of gas a few minutes later. after that, sat in the dark.

sat around for a few hours, ate some delicious cookies, made fun of another teacher's christmas decorations which apparently went completely over her head, and yelled at kids for a few more hours. Oh, and played UNO.

ive been workin night shift so honestly, ive been on TB and various other punk forums for like 10 hours. also made a cover for my new zine, drank 1,5 liters of cocacola, ate 2 hotdogs & some candy, read some new MRR, checked out some record stores sites and found some records to buy too (protex LP, scientists LP & geza X LP...all for 25 euros!!!). everybody´s sleeping here (except me & my partner) so there´s not so much "work" to do...

it´s been sweet but i can´t wait to get to home & to sleep though...

Night shift rules.  I spend the whole night reading (trying to complete Evelyn Waugh's "Sword of Honour" trilogy this week) and listening to Roky Erickson and Thin Lizzy.  Highlight of every night is when the chinese delivery arrives-- lemon chicken on rice at 4 AM, yay.  I've gone in drunk a few times too (since I start at midnight), and no one notices, or at least they don't care if they do.

On that note, Jeff-- I just bought some raspberry cider and will be at your place with the Gibson Bros 45s as soon as I finish burning Buzzcocks CDRs for work.

wow, i´ve never dared to go drunk but very hung over for sure...i work in a mental hospital so maybe that still ain´t that good an idea after all...still one more hour to go (it´s 6.50 in the staurday morning here...)

gotta make some plans for the next night...i hope that the guys from the feelers or carbonas would answer my messages so maybe i´ll spend it doin´ an interview to my zine...

and of course, double salary for doin´ my zine sounds alright to me...

Watched "American Hardcore", cleaned up Pabst cans in the theatre, wondered if a non-descript middle-aged black dude there was in the Haskels (lotta old punkerz in attendance), read a bit of "The Piano Shop on the Left Bank" (convincing myself that I should learn how to play), wrote a song, did a crossword, ate a pizza, did another crossword.  Pretty dull night!!!

i did my zines cover last night and forgot it here at my job...

tonight when i came back to work my co-workers gave it to me and asked "is this yours"

i was like embarrassed like hell sayin "well, yeah..."

i had a picture of hitler doin sieg heil salute with a safety pin through his head and it read "happy abortions zine part two - DC snipers, hjertestop and other shit like that" in finnish....

now im back here  with 10+ hours to go...lets see what ill  come up with tonite!
