Like I said, I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm familiar with the character and have seen all the sketches. I have my own reservations about the movie, but they're not the same as yours. I get annoyed with the probability of most of the dumbasses who watch the movie missing the joke and laughing at the stupid Khazaki instead of the stupid Americans. Like I said, in the television show he never really fucked with blue collar types and if he does in the film, I doubt it's got anything to do with blue collar and everything to do with stupidity.

Like I said, being poor or working class does not make a person an idiot. Stupidity is classless, raceless, sexless etc...

The film is hilarious, but the only lower level Americans he attacks are some hicks at a rodeo. Most northern blue collar types make fun of this segment of the population, anyways. Hardly a class issue to me. Most of the people he makes fun of in the movie or on the show are white collar-types.

I saw Borat.  like SGS said, there really weren't any class issues at all.  He picks on the rich, the poor, the young, the old, the black and the white equally.  He doesn't single out any one type of people, he pretty much just makes fun of western culture in general.
