Love Garden in Lawrence Rules, Arthur Bryant's(anything but pulled pork) or Oklahoma Joe's(only for pulled pork) is good to eat in Kansas City and Chez Charlie's is great for a beer if you can find it.

I got ribs and my wife had the pulled pork sandwich. Was impressed with how perfectly cooked the ribs were but they relied heavily on the sauce for taste. I'm used to TX bbq where the flavor's in the rub but overall they were tasty and enjoyable. I had a couple bites of the pulled pork and honestly don't remember it. I don't think it was bad or anything, just not memorable. Or maybe I was just too involved in the ribs to care. The line took about 30 minutes but was worth it. Would probably hit it up again if I passed through town and the line wasn't out the door.
