These days I'm getting the lowest quality bud I've seen in a minute (that ain't straight up Mexican brick, and it's been years since I've seen that, and it was years since I'd seen it the last time as well). It's all cheap, and I believe it's regional, but it must be outdoor. It's got seeds sometimes (a lot of them at times - like I haven't seen since the 90's) and over all it's pretty dried out and thin and stemy and smokes pretty harsh in general. My wife has also asked when she smells this shit if it's different from the regular stuff, cause it smells awful. It doesn't cost as much as is typical these days (though it's not significantly cheaper either), but it seems to run out a lot quicker than I'm used to, though it's been a while since I've gotten really high anyway, even when I've gotten the stuff that looks like the pic above. It's hard to find the time and place for that kinda experience, even if I wanted it (and, hell, I remember liking to feel like that, so I probably do), but even if I had the right smoke to get me there, it'd be difficult to enjoy in that way, what with all the responsibilities of life. Still, sometimes, being a couple of years out from a unsuccessful legalization effort here that would have allowed people like me to grow up to four plants at home, I wonder if it's all really worth it. It's not bankrupting me, but I can certainly think of other things that I could use that I don't have the money for. I also have a difficult time regulating my intensity without it.
