Did somebody enter me in a contest to win an all-expenses paid trip to Total Fuck Off this year? Funny way of telling me I won. Very punk. Very edgy.

Can we have a new board for threads to be quarantined in when they devolve (as many seem to do) into a 101-level politics of race, class, and gender course?  I get sick of reading that shit all over the rest of the internet, it's too bad that it's taking over this board too.

You have made this complaint more than once. You can easily pick and choose which threads to read. Very simple.
it's all bullshit, and it's bad for ya.

yeah if you didn't see a thread about Kurt Cobain's death turning into a discussion of race and politics then there is something wrong with you

Reading all nine pages was totally worth it for this post alone.

I want to know is what Billy Jack Haynes thinks about Cobain's suicide/murder.

My guess is that Kevin Sullivan took Cobain out.

http://www.vh1.com/news/32913/soaked-in-bleach-review/

Sergeant Donald Cameron, one of the homicide detectives involved in the case, specifically dismissed Grant's theory, claiming,"[Grant] hasn't shown us a shred of proof that this was anything other than suicide." Cobain's friend, Dylan Carlson, told Halperin and Wallace that he also did not believe that the theory was legitimate, and in an interview with Broomfield implied that if he believed that his friend was murdered, he would have dealt with it himself. In Kurt & Courtney, he specifically states that he would kill Courtney and any others involved if he believed that they had murdered Kurt.[19] He has criticized Tom Grant's investigation.

Many of Kurt's friends and family have supported the suicide verdict. Bandmate Krist Novoselic has strongly voiced his opinion that Kurt killed himself. Kurt's friend Everett True also shared this opinion,[20] along with Dave Grohl.[21] Kurt's father, Donald Cobain (who worked with Washington State Patrol), has made no attempts to reopen the case, despite his professional connections.

the most obvious reason i dont believe courtney killed kurt is because she didnt have to.  there were numerous times he OD'ed and she saved his life, thats documented fact.  why would she save his life only to kill him two months later?  even if they were divorced she would have been set for life.  that investigator never saw the crime scene or the evidence first hand.  he's a hack whose livelihood depends on the myth of kurts murder, and his website looks like one of those sept 11th conspiracy blogs, everything cherry picked to support a pre determined conclusion.

it was evident in his music and his writing that he was enamored with suicide, he tried to kill himself numerous times.  he bought the shotgun, he bought the shells.  he wrote a fucking note.  hell i swear he could have televised it live and people would still say courtney killed him.
