Damn! Drunk Elk's demo was a favorite years ago. Always wondered what happened to them. Also totally made me think of Siltbreeze, I believe I told Tom to check them out after hearing them.

They still got it....2 LPs now, some tapes and a 7 inch i think? Gonna have to bust out the Hammering the Cramps LP...

BTW to everyone Goaty Tapes is a superb label and should be checked out. Tried to get copies of the Die Welttraumforscher tapes they just did, but they were almost sold out. Really great comp of Swiss artists early recordings....hadn't heard before and i am hooked now. Luckily their back catalog is pretty deep.

Haven't thought about Goaty Tapes (or Russian Tsarlag) in a long ass time, but I really dug some of their stuff and still have a couple. The packaging and layout on their releases alone was always exceptional.

yeah Zully's designs are great....they fit the melty sonics of their releases. The Drunk Elk has me revisiting a bunch of the Wormwood Grasshopper stuff today.
