At least THREE classic, not-to-be-fucked with zombie films (Night, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead) in my opinion. Plus "Creepshow"? Total bummer.

Plus "Land of The Dead", which I didn't think was that bad.

i once saw him do a talk at a local college.

during QA , a young woman went up to the microphone and asked him something to the effect of "What advice would you give a young woman of color entering the [film] industry?"

George Romero looked at her puzzled and answered, shrugging his shoulders:

"Well I'm not young, a woman, or a person of color so how should i know?"

disappointed the girl walked away from the microphone and the awkward QA continued..
