Electric Eels "Cyclotron" 45 in (barf!!!!) MP3 form. - Still blowing my mind. "Agitated" is THE perfect punk rock song. I want the 45!!!! I want the "Eyeball of Hell" LP!!!!! I want it all!!!!!

It musta took you awhile to grope the greatness of the Electric Eels, if this is your first positive ranting on the subject.  Good luck finding the 45!

"Agitated" is my official theme song and has been since I was about 14 years old.

when i got the 2LP that was the only thing i listened...tried to understand it but didnt...but it still sounded great!!! punk magic.

The Ss cd that never happened was a Liimanarina singles collection. Heard someone else was doing it. It never materialized and by the time it seemed the project was scrapped, putting out CDs was a losing proposition.

The Imperial Dogs.
They stack up OK but not fantastic next to the other mid-70s rock stuff i've heard like Mike Rep & the Quotas, Rocket from the Tombs, Debris, Electric Eels, early Nervous Eaters. Actually if anyone has any recommendations for this sort of stuff (dunno what to call it but it just doesn't seem right to call it pre-punk, it's something on it's own right) i'm all ears.

There's not as much as one would hope. I have a feeling a lot of those bands were too drugged up to record.

How could i forget Simply Saucer? I heard rumours they might play in a couple cities in the next year.
Thanks for the list, i'll keep my eyes and ears open for them.
There ought to be a a good comp of this sort of thing.

armand schaubroeck - I came to visit But Decided to Stay
" " - Shakin Shakin'
The Selector- Too much Pressure
Hard-ons - Best of
Zoomers - Exist
The 2 Tone collection- a checkered past disc 1

If you're on Soulseek check out the person named misterbloor. They have a huge folder with a ton of goodies. I was peeking and saw a bunch of things I dug in there of all different music varietys. They have a super huge folder and tons and tons of stuff I don't have a clue about. if I had a superpower it'd be the power to look at someone's folder and take out all the stuff I know I'd be indebted to forever. Or go into a store and know where all the goodies are.
