Madrigal - s/t (some sorta whacked 1971 psych-drone two-guys-from-New-Jersey-and-a-drum-machine stuff I d-loaded offa soulsuck... pretty good!)

Yeah that record's really awesome. Someone should reissue it.

There's some Madrigal on that Robitussin-psych mix you made me, which I have been playing the shit out of in the car. That Stereo Shoestring cut is my current favaorite song and a total monster.

The new songs up on the Hospitals myspace. Into "Getting out of bed" a whole lot

keep finding myself going back to the myspace page to hear this song again.  very addictive.

Thomas Function were supposed to play at SXSW but someone got arrested I guess. Bummer, heard they're great live. Supposed to come through NY in April, hope that's still happening.

Right now I'm listening to Pumice - Pebbles which is the best thing I've heard out of New Zealand, or anywhere, in awhile. Very Galbraith-esque but also very different and unique.

mission of burma - signals, calls, and marches (reissue packaging is astounding--matador should start doing the norton critical editions)

psychedelic horseshit  7" & LP (don't care if i see another live band this year after witnessing the set they played on tuesday...nice fellas too)

essential logic - beat rhythm news  (weirdest-bestest vocal inflections....and those schizo basslines!)

electric bunnies - chewing gum (can't wait for the lp)

the smiths - louder than bombs (better than the lps proper???)

home blitz - live outside (i pray to jesus every night that the vinylization of the gulcher cd is in process)

world's lousy vol 3 (suspicions and nobunny never fail to make me do a lame little jig--more please!)

"Handy Man" is great, but the b-side "Wildlife" - HOLY SHIT!!!! I was a fan of the first Cheap Time single, but I'm on board the Cheap Time hype wagon in a big way now!!!! Damn, what a catchy song!

Yeah, I've been a fan of that one for a long time.

Especially when the Quick released it and called it 'Play Time.'
