right now i am listening to the owner of the house next door yell "arrggghhhh, shitttt, argggghhh" because, i think, he just slammed himself with a hammer. too fucking bad it wasnt "bzzzzzzzzzzz AAAARRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHH SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE!"

fuck wad has been renovating this house for the last few months. 8 am to 8 pm 7 days a week. he is only supposed to go til 6 pm and people in my building have called the cops several times. even though he didnt lose a body part, it is still nice to hear him in pain....

The Spits - 2006 European Tour
It's lame I know, but this is the first Spits I got. I'm expecting the 2nd album in the post on Tuesday. I'm rather excited.

Madrigal - s/t (some sorta whacked 1971 psych-drone two-guys-from-New-Jersey-and-a-drum-machine stuff I d-loaded offa soulsuck... pretty good!)

Yeah that record's really awesome. Someone should reissue it.

There's some Madrigal on that Robitussin-psych mix you made me, which I have been playing the shit out of in the car. That Stereo Shoestring cut is my current favaorite song and a total monster.

What's this Robitussin-psych mix and can I get a copy? Also where can I hear Madrigal??

mayyors 7"
blank its - stop! no! wait! 7"

its good to see the blank its back but this 7" is a little underwhelming. better than the lp but nowhere near as exciting as the ealier 7"s. i need to give it more spins.

The Beguiled - She-Devil Rock.
Probably my favourite Beguiled track. That guitar just sounds so mean-spirited.

Listening to those three reissues on Mississippi Records, thanks to the thread on this board.

'Life Is A Problem', 'Washington Phillips - What Are They Doing In Heaven Today?', and 'I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore'.

Wow, three fucking incredible records in a row.  'I Don't Feel At Home ...' is the most diverse and, I think, the best of them.
