It's like a format for them, they do it everywhere. They find a local song they sorta "like" and do it without Lars & the other guy. They tried that in Italy too with a Vasco Rossi song, you can hear people in the crowd screaming "noooooo" on the YT video. I really can't understand why they feel the need to make such asses of themselves, apart from the fact that they're really rich and having fun and don't give a shit.

It's whatever, they have been slaughtering punk songs for decades. In interviews I have seen, I genuinely think they did love punk, they always just said they leaned towards something more "technical". I don't question that they like the genre. I also don't question the fact that they can mangle it with bad 80's speed metal licks. It's Metallica: always up to this.

I dunno bro, I listened to it again in my truck on the way to my job at the auto shop: it kinda rips. This is perfect for me because my chick is after me for child support again (six kids) and I need a way to let out the aggression, ya know? Also giving me great ideas for a new tat.

What gym you guys go to?

PS- for sale 2007 Ford Ultra Truck, huge tires, awesome stereo system. Will trade for Harely. PM me.

Might sound a lil better if they had some drums behind it, though they’d need to find a new drummer too. The audience certainly appears confused.

Yeah, it's weird that the guy from suicidal would make a guest appearance and they wouldn't have the full band behind him. Usually if they have an old punker come on stage for a cover, it's the full band, pretty well rehearsed. They've had Danzig and Animal on stage before and it was ok. If I was the Suicidal guy I would feel a little ripped off...30 seconds, no drums? What's the point?

Whoops, that's right. I thought verdicardi (sic) was implying it was a guest. My bad.

Still...pretty bad. They could have at least learned the entire song as a band.

like mentioned above im pretty sure they do it at all their shows.  they are like 2 hour long affairs where they take breaks.  in the past they had each member come out and do their own 2-3 minute long solo on their instrument so I'd take this over that.

Man, I have some love for Clif-era speed metal Metallica, but two hours...would leave me itching to get the hell out of the arena. Plus with this in between...yikes.

A Lar’s drum solo is like one of the layers of hell, just above the level where Cerberus devours you in frozen shit on repeat

What we really need in between sets is a half an hour drum solo and then a showing of the Lars Ulrich modern art collection, with him giving commentary on each piece. Then back to business. YES!
