Yeah, with these olde-timey rock outfits, it's all about giving the people their "money's worth" innit? Roll out the "hits" - padding wherever possible- and put on a smiley post-recovery face to mingle with the "VIPS": nostalgic adulation and nerds who know more about your career than you do, except Lars of course. He know it all...but goddamn, shitty taiko?  >:(

Imagine "Green Hell" with a Cliff hologram, Jason AND the Suicidal guy on triple bass? AND Glen on guest vocals?

shit, a band of reasonably competent junior high school students could do a better job "having fun" and "not caring" blasting through a couple covers than these clowns.  just have the dudes listen to it for 5 minutes and play the song as a full band.  one or two run throughs in the dressing room as a warm up before you hit the stage.  it would be way more interesting to hear these song sketches with a drummer.

That "Enter Sandman" video gives me nightmares, bro. How did these dudes get so dark? The entire record cover is BLACK, bro...darkness. Gives me the chills!

Add in Ron McGovney and a Dave Mustaine hologram. We know he’s still alive but just to make him flip his lid, use a hologram instead of him.

Dave's therapist in L.A. would love this. It's already taken twenty years to heal from being kicked out...now they use a hologram? They're going to need to meet up like ten times a week to work through it.

Back in the heyday this thread would have made it to worse than pop punk before it could even get the first reply.

I'm surprised this thread made it to two pages.
