Ebay mishap.
« on: February 26, 2007, 04:01:00 PM »
Just wonderin' if anyone else has pulled a bonehead move like this:

I was bidding on a copy of the Hollywood Autopsy LP.  As I confirmed my bid for $28.05 I realized I didn't put the decimal point in!  My maximum bid was set to $2,805!  The price went right up to $44, which was more than I wanted to spend, so I had to retract it.

I felt like a complete retard after that one.

I think the seller may have been Steve Turner from Mudhoney.

yeah I did a similar thing by mixing up pounds and dollars.  accidentally bid like 60 bucks on the Worst Mutha 12" in england, but it went for way more than that anyway.

Can I see the listing? I'm kinda interested what they had to say about it. Hollywood Autopsy rules.

Went for $66.01!  I didn't think it would go anywhere near that, but then again I forgot it existed even though I've got the mp3s of it.

Was watching a Mecht Mensch 7" he was also selling, but that went for $119 and a Gears 7" that went for $64 w/a message from Rueben written on the cover.  Too rich for my blood.

Anyone see the Hollywood Autopsy "reunion" video Officer Brad posted a year or two ago?

That's different from what I saw. I saw a video with them opening for Plasticland I think. This is better.

p.s. you can't both like Hollywood Autopsy and hate Jaguar. FYI.
