Dude, you're not gonna make shit on that Carbonas LP unless you tag it as "TERMBO."

Can anybody reiterate the scoop on this one.... I'd asked Dave Carbona about this LP when I saw them in Boston a few years ago (back when this could still be had for $12 buy-it-now) and he basically said it sucks, avoid it, and it's more or less a totally different band. He told me the lineup but I can't remember now - is it Greg (current singer) on drums, and the guitarist (Jesse?), and no other current members? I was expecting run of the mill poppunk, but seeing as there's a cover of "Jaguar Ride" perhaps there's some redeeming qualities?

Dave and Greg are the only original members left in the band. They have always done the same thing throughout the band's 6 years in existence... Dave on drums, Greg singing. They've had several line-up changes. Originally it was Dave, Greg and Jeremy from the Busy Signals playing bass and Bjay from the Lids playing guitar. They kicked Bjay out of the band and got their friend Will to fill in on guitar for a little while. Shortly after was when Scene Killer was recorded. Since then, Will moved to Japan and Clay took his place. Jeremy moved to Chicago and Jesse took his place. They finally added a second guitar player (Josh) and are much happier with their sound this way.
Hope that helps.

its ok and yeah pop punkish, but the biggest difference is that their songwriting has come light years since then.  some bands first recordings are the best, some take time to learn their craft.

i think its a decent record and if it were available new for 8 or 9 bucks id probably want a copy.
