For me, it is FETO but if someone argued fro Scum, I'd argue not.

It's "Scum" all the way; side one's filthy, lobotomized Celtic Frost-meets-Discharge protocrust lurch'n'burp creepycrawl (think "Siege of power") is so much more interesting and feral than FETO's high-impact/low-dynamic sheer velocitude, which is admirable enough as an exercise in extremity but simply fails to hold up as a viable listen over the long haul.

And how about that first Peel Session?  Possibly the fastest record I've ever heard.  I know that there are, of course, even faster records in simnple BPM terms, but nothing that so effectively and consistently defies the metronome rut at such velocities, probably due pretty much entirely to having Mick Harris beating the living shit outta them poor skins.

Yeah, I listened to the Peel Sessons last night. That does top either record.

Everyone who wrote at BG wrote some now embarrasing raves on shitty bands.  I know I did, I vaguely remember giving the Streetwalkin Cheetahs a good review for some horrid record they did.

One of my first reviews on BG was a positive Murder City Devils review.  I still stand by my raves of the Strokes and White Stripes, though.

-Hanson Brothers "My Game":On this, their third full length, they continue their longstanding tradition of putting the rest of the Ramones-core bands to shame. It's a true sign of how talented they are at writing massively huge punk hits when this album, which is one of the better things I've heard this year, is, by far, their weakest album of the three.

I still think this is pretty acurate. I saw them on that tour and its still one of the best live shows I've ever seen.  I guess you really have to see the live show to remember them as positively as I do (or like hockey), but they really are an amazing live band.

I'd go with "Scum" over FETO too....but "Evolved As One" on FETO, what a fucking killer song.

Because things were better at Termbo before the GD child boards....or were they???

Why WHY WHY?

Quote

Besides her man she kneels
Holds him tight and begins to cry
Why why why but why

Her loved one's just another piece of meat
On the battlefields
Why why why but why

Her cries break out into screams
As she now becomes hysterical with grief
Why why why but why

Her loved one's just another piece of meat
On the battlefields
Why why why but why
"Be useless, so no one can use you."
