i was telling him about how i can't really date/hang out with a guy who's not into punk or rock & roll because i've realized that i'm too much of a nerd about it and they honestly can't handle it.

i think this is why my boyfriend (ex?) doesn't like me anymore.

I'm not against psychology Clint. Go through years of schooling to become a licensed psychologist  - ie ungergo formal training and prove that you understand and can apply what you are reading - and then I'll regard you as one. Or show a single ounce of analytical sagacity - or rudimentary rhetorical ability for that matter -  just once in your life and I'll take what you have to say seriously. Learning to emphasize a point without using all caps would be a huge step forward for you. Your verbal skills haven't progressed in over five years despite "reading all the time."

"Is it really such a stretch to add "like a guy would be more inclined to" to the end of "So she doesn't go to every show......"?   Don't think so"

No it is not a stretch BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT I WROTE, you ass.

Forget it. You are right and I am wrong.  Maybe my endorsement of your stellar logic will get you laid.

Clint, I can't respond unless you stop taking such a male tone with me. It's making me uncomfortable.

ok...first off i think this thread is dumb.

second....last year at gonerfest there was a female from clint's state that attended gonerfest.  she never introduced her self to me, but apparently observed the fact that i enjoyed the bands and like to go up front and dance.  her response was to go back to wi and talk shit and call me a "star fucker".  maybe that's why girls in your state don't go to shows....up there they talk shit and think that you're only there to fuck the boys in bands if you don't act lame and hang out in the back.

This thread's provided a number of fantastic quotes for my upcoming nonfiction best-seller, All Women are Cunts.

no, clint, you're on the right track.  remember "one bitch in the world, and one bitch with many faces".  vaginal vortex is just swallowing up everyone here

you taking pre-orders on that book, lastname?

i saw april at the blackout on year, she's hot, and she was up front dancing.  sounds like one in a million to me!

for a "stupid thread" it built up quick

p.s.  april, despite how that may read i was trying to compliment you, not be shallow and "male", i swear.  this thread just seems like an over-generaliztion to the umptheenth.  i'm actually "over shows" these days, does that make me a chick?

You've gotta be fucking kidding me, Clint.  There are just about as many girls around here that are obsessive music fans as there are guys, and I think I go to just as many shows as you do despite the fact that I can't even get into half of them because they're in bars.  I'm nearly always in the front row enjoying myself for the music, not in back being some sort of scenester douchebag bitchface.

And plenty of girls have been put in the situation where they've had to choose between going to shows and hanging out with significant others.  That isn't a guy problem in relationships; that's a person who goes to shows' problem in relationships.
