Is there a pre-order option for this thing?  I read something about each 7" having a smaller pressing than the one before it.....

Can somebody please make a separate Jay Reatard board like the Black Lips one so I don't have to skip over anymore threads discussing him?  Thanks.
I second this. And I'm not joining. EVER.

I have little doubt that whole "reduced pressing size" thing is just a harmless smartass burn at collector expense.

I think it's kinda hilarious. They're putting it all out on LP/CD anyway.

I'm not really hating on him, I'm just simply tired of hearing about him. And jealous of his success.

This is so funny to me that all these cards/chips whatever the fuck they are, are all lining up right before our eyes....because I remember starting a thread on garagepunk a long time ago about who had the best chance to get a "gold record" out of all these bands people around here like.  gold meaning selling 500,000 units.

This was obvious he could do it with a little support even before he started talking to anybody "major" and that includes Matador.  And people responded like "what?  this could never, ever, EVER fucking ever happen".  Seems plausible to me now.  Wait till all that major international retail outlet distro kicks in.  And this is awesome.  Why sit on the shit?  Its good!

He just has/and has had the potential to put out this kind of output that is all the best in terms of the dirty raw and even sick aspects, but also sounds good and is melodic.  For radio-tuned ears of high school preps and shit like that, this equals "exciting and also inviting and new" to radio-tuned ears.  A little friendly melody you can discern/associate to...but a lot of new sounds and "attitude".  It's the kind of shit that makes kids get head over heels in love with this god-like new figure.  Its what happened, yes, to Nirvana.  From their perspectives.  This equals exactly the type of "ripe for pickin" artist that comes around and shakes shit up for the masses with a little financial backing.  I just hope they arent planning to be writing his record off on their taxes.  If it doesnt kick off well, I've heard sick sad stories about that.

From Pitchfork:

After he parts ways with the Black Keys, he'll blow through the rest of April up and down the East Coast with fun-sounding folks like Cheap Time and CPC Gangbangs.

It is so obvious that these turds know NOthing about anything remotely TB-ish ie; good garage-level rock 'n roll. Pitchfork is the new Spin circa 1995.
