From Pitchfork:

fun-sounding folks like Cheap Time and CPC Gangbangs.

yeah this is pathetic.  i always hated pitchfork....i just feel like i cant trust them to give anything a good look because they are over-extended in terms of coverage.  and plus they have pay to play politics they have to consider or else their assistant junior deputy editor in chief of the trip-hop department wont get his/her salary.

I can't believe he's playing in at an eating club at Princeton. Never in a million years did I think that would happen. I don't know why I'm so surprised. It's pretty cool.

That's essentially a frat house, yes?

Princeton is adamant about having eating clubs instead of frats, and Terrace has historically been the arty and hip eating club, but yeah pretty much. I'm interested to see what the reception will be like. I'd say you should come down for the show but it's always uncertain how they're gonna be about letting non students in.

A lot of those old Terrace bills are pretty funny.  This is the most 80s bill ever:

# Christmas + Birdsongs of the Mezozoic + Willie "Loco" Alexander

GBV played on the front steps of the Terrace club on the Mag Earwhig tour. Also apparently with a pre-Times New Viking band it says on this website, which is weird cause it was 10 years ago.

kathy debaun really dropped the ball for a while there.  i am intrigued by the idea of an "eating club."  do they get together and eat sick food?

Nah it's pretty much just like a co-ed frat, just named that cause people in it eat meals there. I was at the Terrace Club tonight and I can tell you that the night's desert looked sick in the traditional sense, it kind of looked like blondies but super dry with raisins in them.  Also some real dry looking poundcake. Dryest desert I've ever seen.

If I could be guaranteed to get in, I'd strongly consider driving down (Are doors really early for these?  I wouldn't see being able to get there much before 9 PM).  Maybe Paddy or Sniper can pull some strings and get me on the Cheap Time guest list.

That has to be wrong. I very, very, very highly doubt those guys were going on tour when they were fifteen. Was it the Offending Instruments?

hahaha... I guess that's pre-TNV. It's Kevin Elliot's old band. Kevin is Adam's older brother. They released album(s?) on Bob Pollard's label.
