yep.  theres no way in hell they will be sitting on unsold copies.  the world is big.  2,500 is not hard shoes to fill when you tour and have that much history in the pimp game.

Yeah, you guys are right. Seemed like that In The Red 12" took 6 months to sell out and it was only 700 copies, but times have changed since then.

I also think he can sell 2,500.  I just don't think they'll disappear immediately, or anything like it.  People do not need to go nuts about pre-ordering one now.  Every store that sells vinyl and carries Matador will have it.

I just purchased 2,000 copies by creating 2,000 fake accounts and inputing the address's of my 2,000 friends from across the country. I also paid with 2,000 different credit cards just to be safe. Trust me, this will indeed be hard to find.
