He probably hit him with same limp wrist as those who were whining about him getting hit. 10 times to the head? Look what a less lethal object like a steel chair did to Cactus Jack.Myself, I think I'll be packin a hammer stapler in my guitar case. The assaulted will be thinking about his actions the next day as he or she digs staples outta their forehead.
To clarify, he hit the dude maybe 3 times.  I have no clue who said it was 10, that's just ridiculous.  I was standing 2 feet away when this happened.

Jay wrote in his post to this thread that he came back "10fold." Which is not to say he hit him 10 times, but it may explain Cyrus' confusion.

I'm a graduate of the Evelyn Woodhead speed reading course, and I drink alot.

The beef Malt was talking about eventully led to him getting beatdown pretty badly by Skarhead and their pals....

It wasn't a bunch of guys, just Ezec.

Here's Ezac's version of the story:

oh man did you see the shit on the first page of that thing?

"Agnostic Front were on tour and they were due to play in my town, whose name I'm not going to tell you because I'm scared of the guy that's in this story. Apparently their guitarist Vinnie Stigma isn't exactly a rocket scientist and he woke up in the van headed to the show freaking out. He thought he slept way too late. So he yelled at Steve Martin, who was driving at the time, "What fucking time is it? When is the show?" and Steve goes, "Relax Vinnie, we don't go on until nine." That's when Vinnie totally loses it and screams, "IT'S 8:99 YOU FUCKING IDIOTS. IT'S 8:99!!!"

The radio was on 89.9 FM."

Ok to clarify I had no problem with the bar .. I was excited to play such a small place... This is the deal... We showed up at 5 in the afternoon to be greeted by the owner who said there was no show.. We calledo"matty" "promoter" who never answered his calls so we left a message asking  if the show was still on . We went back into the bar and begged the bar owner to let the show go on . He asked us who would be playing this show he knew nothing about so we gave him a list of the band names of the bands we knew were confirmed on the bill . At 10:00 with no call back we  back to the bar and atleast 2 local bands that were not on the bill jumped on making a total of 6 bands ... I simply said since there was no show booked and we had to beg the owner to let anyone play that we and the strange boys (our support band) should be able to play when we wanted... After asking this... who shows up but drunk ass Matty talking shit and trying to instigate a fight between all the other bands and me.. So I said "fuck this I'm not gonna fucking hang out and be intimidated by a buncha fucking beach brains" Strange boys played while people all around talked about "beating there faggot asses " so yeah I wanted to leave I didn't feel like our gear or our band or van was safe... We decided to play and while loading up had beer dumped on us were called rockstar fags etc....Four songs in a guy who was trying to throw people into us our whole set fell on to my guitar breaking the input jack we kicked him of stage with our feet and he  came at me so yeah I fucking gave it back to him 10 fold.. The first 2 bands got payed by the owner of the bar we gave the strange boys over half of our money. Just so you know we lost money this day with gas van etc....

I really regret how this show turned out...  I really wanted to play but not in a fucking hostile environment. And when you are on the road for months and months on end is it to much to ask to have a sober responsible promoter who has his shit together run thing smoothly..?

i smell bullshit. to get this straight, i'd really have to have some patience or real interest as the bloggers of the world unite to talk shit, kiss ass and gloat about shit that i much less rather hear spoken let alone read on the fucking internet. but to put it simply jay reatard has waisted enough of my time already. matty is a good dude, does quite a bit for the scene, but like many of the pitfalls that comes along with fans of punk rock he has his vices... so i picked up the slack and booked this show two & half weeks ahead of time, as i've done a many times before and to be honest my only cause for concern and motivation was to make sure there was a show for the touring band (Jay Reatard).

i emailed the club, they confirmed and said they were listing it on their page. they did, and there it remained up until the day of the show which i double checked periodically through the weeks to make sure. i emailed matty, he took over (i guess there were contracts and tour riders, i dunno, and i really dont care). strange boys got added, and neon maniacs added bad parents (they share a drummer, and played a 25 min set combined). i dont know why the owner was confused, it's possible that him and the booker didn't communicate well. who the fuck knows? check the dude out, it's obviously his first time running a music venue. i dont think he got the memo, or step by step playbook of rules and regulations of how to run a venue. neither have I for that matter, and i'm okay with that. also i got the calls regarding them getting to the club and the guy turning away possible show goers. i was on it the whole time, calling the club, calling my bandmates to go down there and check. we covered our asses to the best of our ability and there was phone contact with a reatard's guitar player...who called me around 9:30-9:45ish while they were checkin' into their hotel. i told you we'd be there at 8pm, we were and you weren't. double check that party of yer story.

the truth is we do diy shows all the time... for both fair sized touring bands, and totally small, independent & poor touring bands. we've done the circuit ourselves quite a few times and come back broke every single time. even when we went japan, little to no merch sold, and no pay at any of the venues. i am in no way complaining, i'd do it again in a heartbeat. quit the job, and come back thousands of dollars in debt sounds stupid right? probably is but it works for me and i dont care. so the last thing i ever expected to hear, was this arrogant asshole sit there a complain about the most trivial of events. things weren't perfect yes you're right, but they still could have been fun. and you would of been paid just the same. i wanted to hook up the one other out of town band (Killer Dreamer) with $20 bucks for gas, which seems pretty fair and then rest of the door was your's. we never wanted a cent.

i was looking forward to jay that night, i had heard good things ring in from around the country about him. sad to say, I and many others were shocked, apalled and totally bummed by what transpired. who the hell attacks the kids there to see your band? i ran into the kids outside, i had never seen these people around but they came out to anaheim to see you. not anyone else, just you. and you attack them with yer guitar or kick them with yer feet or however you put it...

i dont know when and where it happens, but i  guess the almighty dollar eventually prevails.
bummer.

lots of love,
xoxo,
