Some time in the '80's my dad was on business in New England and came back asking 16 year old me if I knew of Jerry's Kids.  I guess he'd had to take one of their brothers out to lunch.

It was the release party for a book written by a friend of my dad. It was at horrible NYC punk club the Continental, so I guess my story isn't as weird as Simon's.

And Daniel, the Continental was like the 7th circle of Hell.
Not a tear was shed the day they stopped having bands and converted that place into a frat bar.
