apparently I'm using version 157 test 8.  Could this possibly make a difference?  I've had Soulseek again for like three weeks now (was without the internet for about five months before that) and none of the people I've added to my userlists have ever been online, only the people I've randomly searched for music from have ever come back on my list.

yeah go back to the last stable version.  i tried out that test and had the same results, switched back right away, and it was a pain in the ass, had to manually delete alot of the test, at least i didnt lose my .cfg files thank fucking god...

im pretty sure you have to actually go to create the room because there so few people in it, it wont show up on the list.

enter in 'terminal-boredom' and youll be in the room.  nobody talks in there, but its a good way to search for files/find like-minded hipsters

the garagepunk.com will show up on the list, though.

haha, dont know about a legend, theres a few people I count on to get most of my stuff on there (their names have already been mentioned in here I'm sure)

If you have trouble browsing my files, just keep trying again, I have a hard time with people with too many files, but eventully it will work.  Not gonna be on until this Riley Mason porn is done downloading tho!

That's cause you're on a SLOW connection. Same problem I had until I got DSL. I noticed the more things you have on your computer the slower your connection gets. Mine's 18.1 at the moment. Highest has been 50. Gorehound had probably the largest folder I'd seen for a long time w/ over 50,000 files at one time. But I can upon someone a few weeks ago with like 106,000 files.

Not gonna be on until this Riley Mason porn is done downloading tho!

She's adorable. I'd rather see Velicity Von over her anyday though.

Actually might have more to do with my connection than Dave's....my upload is really slow (10kb/sec) - and I think Soulseek times out if it is taking too long for me to send the list.

Havent reached the 50K mark yet, i'm around 35.  Highest on my userlist is 75K.

The Riley Mason stuff was nice...never seen Velicity Von...i'll have to check that out
